Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?

To maximize your chances of getting the desired day, time and number of tickets you want, please book in advance. Tickets may be purchased with Visa, AMEX or Mastercard. Cash is not accepted. Please note, once purchased, tickets are non-refundable.
Where is the meeting point for the Brevard Bites Food Tour?
Wine Down on Main at 28 East Main Street in downtown Brevard. Please arrive approximately 10 minutes early. The tour begins promptly at 2pm.
What is included in the Brevard Bites Food Tour ticket price?
All food tastings and wine/drink pairings are included. If you want a Brevard Bites Food Tours t-shirt, that will be extra. ;-)
Can I get a refund or reschedule my Brevard Bites Food Tour tickets?
Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded or rescheduled because your space is being guaranteed on the food tour. No partial credits or rescheduling are allowed for partial attendance, no shows, or late arrivals. Please be sure to show up at the right location on time for the start of the tour.
Do I need to purchase a ticket if I’m not eating?
Yes, all guests on the tour must purchase a ticket whether they plan to partake in the food/drink tastings or not.
Any advice for out-of-towners interested in taking the food tour?
Yes, if you’re a visitor to Brevard, we recommend taking our walking food tour at the beginning of your visit, so you allow yourself plenty of time to revisit your favorite food tasting locations later.
What happens if the weather is bad (rain, snow, cold weather, etc.)?
Brevard Bites Food Tours are held in rain, snow, or sunshine. Please dress appropriately for the day’s weather conditions. And be sure to wear comfortable shoes!

Is there parking nearby the tour meeting point?
Yes, there is ample public parking in downtown Brevard. Please be aware, however, that some street parking along Main Street and Broad Street is 2-hour parking only. As our tour lasts 3 hours, don’t choose those spots unless you love getting parking tickets. Also, please give yourself enough time to find parking and walk to the meeting point so that you arrive on time for the tour.
What types of foods are served on the tour?
We visit amazing local, non-chain restaurants and specialty food shops. Among some of our current food samplings: Greek meatballs and tzatziki, pulled pork, charcuterie, salmon puff pastry, fried green tomatoes, and decadent chocolates. Food options can change at any time.
How much food is served on the Brevard Bite Food Tour?
We will visit six tasting locations in downtown Brevard on the tour. You should be delightfully full and worn out at the end of the tour!
Does the food tour end at the same place we meet?
No. The tour does not finish at the same location as the meeting point. However, the tour both begins and ends close to the heart of downtown Brevard (all within walking distance to where you parked your car).
Can I shop during the tour?
Sorry, no. We’re on a schedule to visit the various food tasting locations when they expect us to arrive.
Can Brevard Bites Food Tours accommodate my dietary restrictions or food allergies?
Please inform us of any food allergies when ordering your tickets. The safety and health of our guests is our top priority. We can provide substitutions for shellfish and peanut allergies. However we CANNOT make substitutions for any other food allergies (such as gluten-free, dairy-free, etc.) or diets such as vegetarian,vegan, paleo, low-carb, etc. We are sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
Does the tour guide accept gratuities?
Uh, yes!! Gratuities are very much appreciated!
Are children allowed on the tour?
Brevard Bites Food Tours does not offer discounted tickets for children (or seniors, for that matter). If you are bringing a child that is 2 years old or younger, and the child will not be eating during the tour, you do not need to purchase a ticket for him/her. If your child is 3 years of age or older, you will need to purchase a ticket for him/her, regardless of whether the child will be participating in the tastings.
Are tours offered only in English?
We also offer our tours in Japanese. Please contact us to book a private tour.
Does Brevard Bites Food Tour have anything to offer local residents?
Yes, absolutely! Not only will locals enjoy wonderful food on the tour, but they will possibly learn fun new facts they didn’t know about the history of downtown Brevard.
